Growing our Community of Doulas
At Milestone Doulas, we believe that investing in birth workers is investing in families. When doulas are well-trained, well-mentored, and well-supported, the whole community benefits — more families have access to quality care, more birth workers find their footing with confidence, and the standard of support available to everyone rises. Supporting the next generation of doulas is a part of how we show up for birth work and for the Corpus Christi community and beyond.
Working with a D.I.T
Our Doula in Training program exists to bridge the skills gap that exists for most new doulas. We partner with emerging doulas who are committed to this work, ready to learn, and need experience working with real families. For families, this means access to a dedicated doula who is engaged and motivated, with the added assurance of an experienced doula mentor working closely alongside them. For the DITs themselves, it means building real skill in the context of real care, with guidance that makes them better at this work for every family that comes after.

I support families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with a calm, steady presence and a big heart for this season of life. I care deeply about helping parents feel seen, encouraged, and not alone in this season.

I am currently training as a Birth & Postpartum Doula and Childbirth Educator, continuing to grow my knowledge so I can show up with both education and compassion.
